Freimund, Diane L. (7 August 1983 – 30 December 2021)
Diane L. Freimund, age 38, of Milan, passed away December 30, 2021, at Aspirus
Wausau Hospital.
Diane was born on August 7, 1983, in Marshfield, the daughter of Danny and
Dorean (Petznick) Freimund. She was a 2002 graduate from Abbotsford High School.
Diane worked at Marathon Cheese as a line worker. Most importantly, Diane
cherished her family and especially her niece and nephew, Lydia and Kolton.
Diane loved playing games and collecting mustangs, her favorite was the white
mustang.
Diane is survived by her mom; Dorean; two sisters: Dawn (Travis) Faber of
Merrill, and Dee Freimund of Milan; a niece, Lydia Faber and a nephew, Kolton
Faber and further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in
death by her dad; Danny (March 2020) and grandparents.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at
the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. The Rev. Frank Geibel will
officiate. Interment to follow at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Family and
friends are welcome from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Satruday. Family and
friends can watch the service live on the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home
Facebook page or after the service anytime on Facebook or the website. Family
requires those in attendance to wear a mask.
