Neillsville by the Rev. Joseph Henseler. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs.
Anton Langreck, Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Lamoine Anason, rural Neillsville.
At the service music was presented by Lee Kuechenmeister on the organ and Bob
and Connie Ross as guitarist and vocalist.
Serving as maid of honor was Bev Tibbett, a friend of the bride from
Neillsville. She was joined in the bride’s part by Toni Bravener, a sister of
the bride from Owen; Charlene Anason, a sister of the groom; and Dianna Marty, a
friend of the bride. The latter two were from Neillsville.
Serving as bestman was David Dux, a friend of the groom. He was joined by Kevin
Anason, the groom’s brother, and Randy Roehl and Gene Marty, friends of the
groom. Ushering were Patrick Langreck and Gary Anason, cousins of the bride and
groom. All of the male attendants were from Neillsville.
The bride chose a pleated gown with fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of
pink roses and daisies. Her attendants wore mid-length, pink dresses in a
burgundy-floral pattern with pink floor-length underskirts. They carried
bouquets of miniature burgundy carnations and daisies. The groom was attired in
a white tuxedo while his attendants wore burgundy tuxedos.
Following the sharing of vows, a reception and dance was held at the Neillsville
American Legion Hall. The couple then left on a tour or Wisconsin and Michigan.
Prenuptials events included a shower hosted by Betty Schultz and Charlotte
Drescher and another shower hosted by Charleen Anason, Toni Bravener, Bev
Tibbett and Dianna Marty.
