Dux, Norman E. (1934? – 25 December 2021)
Norman E. Dux, December 25, 2021, age 87 years. Beloved Husband of Carol (Lahn)
for 64 years. Loving Father of David (Lynn), Paul, Mark (Aileen) Dux and Julie
(Jay) Wnuk. Cherished Grandfather of Michael, Denise, Rebecca, Victoria,
Jacqueline and Jacob. Dear Brother to Everett, Melvin, Marie and Irene. Further
survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Norm grew up on the Family Farm in Neillsville. He went to high school and
college at Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, to study to be a teacher.
After graduation he spent 35 years as a Lutheran School Teacher. Norm guided his
students at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Tomah. He was also a teacher at
Pilgrim Lutheran School in Minneapolis, MN. Norman finished his career as a
Teacher/Principal at Our Savior’s Lutheran School in Wausau. After he retired,
he worked as a handyman to keep himself busy and spent many weekends helping out
on the Family Farm. Throughout his life, Norman was a mentor and role model to
his students, colleagues, family and friends. He always loved to travel or go
camping and visit Family. Norman will be remembered as a devoted family man and
a man of great faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will be greatly
missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
Family and friends will gather at Heritage Funeral Home, 9200 S. 27th Street,
Oak Creek, WI 53154 on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 9:00 A.M. until the time
of the Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M.
On Thursday, there will be a private interment at North Pine Valley Cemetery in
Neillsville, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cudahy (3775 E.
Cudahy Ave, Cudahy, WI 53110) are greatly appreciated.
