Ormond, Janice Marie (13 June 1980)

The United Methodist Church in Loyal was the mid-afternoon Friday, June 13, site for the sharing of wedding vows between Janice Marie Ormond, and Rodney Bogdonovich, both of Greenwood. The Rev. Charles Sanford officiated with the father of the bride presenting her to the altar. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John Ormond, Jr., Rt. 3 Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bogdonovich, Willard.

Mrs. Pat McFarlane, a friend of the bride from Willard, was matron of honor. She was joined by Tammy Ormond of Neillsville and Linda Ormond of Marshfield, both sisters of the bride; and Sherry Stein, a friend of the bride from Sun Prairie.

Wayne Cooper, a friend of the groom from Sun Prairie, was bestman. He was joined by Randy Bogdonovich, the groom’s brother from Willard; Walter Ormond of Greenwood and Ronald Ormond of Neillsville, both brothers of the bride. Ushering were Richard Petkovsek, brother-in-law of the bride and Gary Humboldt, a friend of t he couple, both from Neillsville.

The bride chose an organza gown featuring stand-up collar, front and back ruffles, trimmed yoke and ruffled train. She caried a bouquet of red roses, white daisies, white carnations and baby’s breath. The groom and his attendants chose black tuxedos over light blue shirts.

“The Wedding Song,” “The Rose” and “For Bobbie, For Baby” were the special musical selections offered at the service by Kathy Johnson, Barb Ormond and Sandy Miller.

Following the service, a reception was held at the Greenwood American Legion Hall.

The couple announced that they would take a later wedding trip. They will make their home at Pinewood Terrace, Greenwood.

The bride is a Neillsville High School graduate and is employed by ITT Life in Thorp. The groom attended Greenwood High School and is self-employed.

Prenuptial events included a shower hosted by Linda and Tammy Ormond and Debbie McFarlane.
