David Mamayek, 43, died Friday evening at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 11, 1974 at St. Hedwig’s Chapel, Thorp. Military service was conducted by the Thorp American Legion Post. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Mamayek, David D. (5 Oct 1931 – 8 Nov 1974)

David Daniel Mamayek, 43, died at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley, on Friday, November 8, 1074. Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Chapel Monday, November 11, with Father Bull Buckmann officiating at the 10:30 a.m. service. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery, Withee, with the American Legion Post No. 118 members as pallbearers.

David was born October 5, 1931. He was employed as foreman of Stanley Corporation, Stanley.

Surviving are one daughter, Diane Mamayek; his mother, Evelyn Mamayek; one brother, Raymond Mamayek, Thorp; two sisters, (Delores) Mrs. Julian Slowiak, Cadott, (Patricia) Mrs. Kenneth Roggeman of Milwaukee, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Mamayek, in 1971.
