Walker, Diane K. (29 June 1980)
Diane K. Walker and Stephan A. Gantert were united in marriage on Saturday, June
28, ceremonies at the Listeman Arboretum in Neillsville. The Rev. Gale Wolf
officiated. Parents of the couple are Bernard and Deloris Walker, Neillsville,
and Albert and Rose Gantert, La Crosse.
Attending the bride were Terri Wolf and Joyce David. At the groom’s side were
Fredrick Funk and Richard Stickler. Robert Schoengarth ushered, and Kim Ebner
served as flower girl.
The bride chose a cotton, dotted Swiss gown, featuring a stan-up collar with a
lace-trimmed pinafore over the gown, the latter accented with a hand embroidered
red rose. She also wore a white, brimmed hat and carried a bouquet of three
stemmed red roses adorned with baby’s breath. The groom was attired in an
ice-blue vested suit.
The couple traveled to their reception at the Neillsville American Legion Hall
on a team-pulled surrey, escorted by Franklin Gault. A dance followed.
The bride attends Western Washington University in Bellingham, and the groom is
employed by Reynolds aluminum Company, also in Bellingham.
