Three students from the Neillsville area have been named to receive the Chancellor’s Award for academic excellence during the second semester at UW-Stout.

They are Janell Ross, a junior majoring in child development and family life, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ross, 1511 Hewett St.; Gary Ross, a junior majoring in industrial education, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ross, 1511 Hewett St.; David Marksteiner, a freshman majoring in applied mathematics, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Marksteiner, Rt. 1.
