Slovenska Druzba Members Gather (1980)
Approximately 400 people recently attended a Slovenska Druzba celebration in the
Willard community. The event began with a potluck picnic dinner, featuring
Slovenian sausage.
Guests at the social club event included those from California, Minnesota,
Illinois, Montana, New York, Africa, Yugoslavia and many communities in
Wisconsin.
Members of the Range Polka Club of Chisholm, Minnesota, and other musicians
performed. Also featured was the singing of traditional Slovenian songs.
John Router of Blair, Minnesota, won the grand drawing, taking home an Afghan
donated by Donna Wolf.
