The Rev. Stephen S. Krawiec, a native of Poland, succeeded the Rev. Thomas
Falkowski as pastor of St. Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church in Lublin. He
assumed his pastoral duties on November 15, 1974.
Father Krawiec received his education in his native village of Grabowiec and in
the city of Konin, Poland. During the World War II, he was deported to Germany,
where he worked on a large German farm.
In November 1947 he immigrated to Canada. While working in Toronto, he got
acquainted with the Polish National Catholic Church.
While serving in Warren, Ohio, Father Krawiec married Miss Helen Moletsko, a
native of Pennsylvania. The couple has a 5-year-old daughter, Stephanie.
In addition to being pastor of St. Mary’s parish in Lublin, he will also serve
two mission parishes, in Hawkins and Radisson, Wisconsin.
