Oldham Named December Junior Kiwanian (December – 2021)

Neillsville Kiwanis Club has continued its long-standing tradition of
recognizing high-achieving senior students by naming Courtney Oldham the Junior
Kiwanian of the Month for December.
Oldham joined the club at its Dec. 13 meeting. She is the daughter of Sandy and
Steve Oldham and was introduced to members by club secretary Herman Seebandt.
Oldham has been in National Honor Society for three years and is a member of the
Spanish Club. By the time she graduates, she will have competed in track four
years and trap shooting two years. Oldham’s extensive FFA involvement includes
serving as chapter reporter this year. She attended the national convention in
Indianapolis, In this fall and plans to attend the Washington Leadership
Conference in Washington, D.C. this summer.
Her community activities include teaching church four-year-old kindergarten
classes and helping with Vacation Bible School for six years.
Following graduation, Oldham plans to attend UW-River Falls and major in
agriculture education.
“The Neillsville community can take pride in the accomplishments of students
such as Courtney Oldham. The Kiwanis Club is pleased to honor this
high-achieving senior and wishes her continued success in her future,” Kiwanian
Brent Shoup wrote in a Dec. 22 press release.
