Sherman, Bonnie Jean Lorraine (12 July 1980)

The Rev. Gary Clark officiated at a Neillsville United Methodist Church 1:00 p.m. wedding, July 12 of Bonnie Jean Lorraine Sherman and Dale Robert Hohenstein. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Sherman, Rt. 1 Chili, and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Hohenstein, Rt. 1 Granton. The father of the bride presented her to the altar.

Rhonda Sherman, a sister of the bride from Chili, was maid of honor. She was joined by Carole Hohenstein, a sister-in-law from Neillsville, and Lori Garbisch, a friend from Granton.

Terry Hohenstein, the groom’s brother from Neillsville, was bestman. He was joined by David Hohenstein, another brother from Neillsville, and Bruce Hohenstein, a cousin from Janesville. Ushering were Richard Sherman, the bride’s brother from Chili, and Robert Schoengarth, a friend from Neillsville.

Scott Tieman of Michigan, a cousin, and Dawn Cullen of Granton, a friend of the couple, served as ringbearer and flower girl.

The bride chose a full-length gown with long train and carried red roses, blue carnations and white daisies. Her attendants were attired in white, adorned by blue flowers and carried bouquets similar to the bride’s. The groom chose a blue tuxedo.

Following the services , a reception and dance was held at the Granton Sportsmen’s Club. The couple then left on a trip to Great America, Chicago and Milwaukee.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Hohenstein will make their home on Rt. 1, Neillsville. She is a graduate of Granton High School. He is a Neillsville High graduate and is employed by Nelson Muffler in Neillsville.
