Kolaczkowski, Frances (16 Oct 1881 – 4 Dec 1974)
Frances Kolaczkowski, 93, died in Chicago on Wednesday, December 4, 1974. She
was born in Poland October 16, 1881. They lived and farmed in the Thorp area
until five years ago, and then went to live with her daughter in Chicago.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 7 at St. Hedwig’s Chapel, with
Rev. Buchman officiating at the ten a.m. service. Burial was made in the parish
cemetery. Pallbearers were: Leonard Mizerka, Louis Lewan, Ray Kolac, Louie
Kobylarczyk, Peter Tomkowiak, and Jerry Nowak.
Surviving are one daughter, (Emily) Mrs. Jack Tryboski of Chicago; two sons,
John of Chicago and Frank of Holcombe; four grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie, one son, Walter, and one
grandson killed in World War II.
