Schultze, Theodore (20 Mar 1889 – 8 Dec 1974)
Theodore Schultze, 85, former resident of Stanley, died at the Laurel Nursing
Home in Laurel, Montana Sunday morning.
Mr. Schultze was born March 20, 1889 at Thorp. He grew up in the Thorp area and
in 1912 was married to the former Ida Banderob of Stanley. After their marriage
they lived in the area, where Mr. Schultze was a cheese maker for many years.
Upon his retirement he lived at Stanley until moving to Montana.
Surviving are two sons, Donald, Billings, Montana and Kenneth, Stanley; two
daughters, Mrs. W. E Vanderhyden, Thorp and Mrs. William Wojcik, Kansas City
Missouri; three brothers, Frank, Max, and Dan of Thorp; two sisters, Mrs. Martha
Krause, Thorp, and Mrs. Tilly Diesen, Columbus; 10 grandchildren and 4
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stanley, with the Rev. David Fuller
of the Stanley United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the East Thorp
Cemetery.
