Janet Hansen, daughter of Vern and Bernice Hansen of Withee, was named to the
Dean’s List for the fall term at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsi. Janet
is a senior at Northland.
Inclusion on the Dean’s List is an academic honor awarded to full time student
carrying three or more units of course work, who maintain a 3.4 grade point
average out of a possible 4.0, with no grade less than a C/
Northland is an independent co-educational four year college that emphasizes the
liberal arts and environmental studies. It also offers strong programs in Native
American Studies and integrated to learning among natural and cultural
disciplines.
Founded in 1892 near the shore of Lake Superior in northwestern Wisconsin,
Northland has a current enrollment of 750 students, who come from 33 states and
several foreign countries.
