Strauss, Harry (20 Jan 1895 – 7 Feb 1977)

Harry Bradford Strauss, 82, Withee, died on Monday, February 7, 1977 at 12:10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where he had been a patient since January 25.

Services will be held Thursday, February 10, 1977 at Sowder Funeral Home at Rifle, Colorado. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemeteryat Rifle.

Mr. Strauss was born January 20, 1895 at Wayland, Pennsylvania and married the former Christina Satonica on August 6, 1941 at Grand Junction, Colorado. He was a carpenter on the railroad for many years.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Withee.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Wilkerson, Colorado, three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

A son, two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

The Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Own was in charge of local arrangements.
