Joanne H. Laabs, age 74, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at Just like Home Assisted living, in Colby, WI. She is survived by two brothers. Milton (Yoggi) Laabs of Gillett and Marlyn (Priscilla) Laabs of Marshfield.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Laabs, Joanne H. (31 March 1947 – 11 February 2022)

Joanne H. Laabs passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at the age of 74, at Just Like Home Assisted Living in Colby.

Joanne was born March 31, 1947, in Wausau to Albert and Alvina (Awe) Laabs. Joanne attended Owen-Withee Junior High School.

Joanne is survived by two brothers: Milton (Yoggi) Laabs of Gillett and Marlyn (Priscilla) Laabs of Marshfield. Also, several nieces and nephew and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Alvina; and her siblings: Alton, Milton and her sister: Jeannette.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran, 1131 Meridian, Curtiss. Paster Nancy Amacher will officiate. A visitation will be held at the church, beginning 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial will follow the service at Pine Hill Cemetery.
