Marine Maj. Richard S. Glenzer, son of Jean L. Glenzer, 218 W. Fourth St., and Hubert Glenzer Jr., Route 1, Owen, has graduated from the Naval War College.

The college at Newport, Rhode Island, the oldest educational institute of its type in the world, presents graduate level courses for selected (senior) military officers and top level government executives.

During the 10-month course, Glenzer studied the elements of strategy and policy, defense economics and decision-making, and the effective employment of Naval forces.
