Christ Lutheran Church was the setting July 30 for the wedding of Miss Deborah
Ann Weber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent E. Weber, Route 4, Marshfield and
Dirk E. Bauer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome R. Bauer, Route 1, Spencer.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents during the ceremony performed by
the Rev. T.P. Bradtke and the Rev. Andrew H. Bofenkamp of Christ the King
Catholic Church, Spencer.
Mrs. Bradtke played the organ and Steve Helmke sang.
The bride had an organza and chantilly lace Queen Anne gown with chapel-length
train and a bridal headpiece to which was affixed a fingertip tulle and lace
veil.
Miss Doreen Weber of Marshfield was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Cheryl
Hoffman and Misses Donna and Danette Weber, all of Marshfield, and Miss Dena
Bauer, Spencer. They had lavender lace-print blouson formals, and each had a
matching derby and a bouquet of lavender azaleas, white carnations, lily of the
valley, violets, baby's breath. wedding flowers and English ivy.
Randy Krause of Spencer was best man. Groomsmen were Arlyn Meinders of Spencer,
Jesse Miller of Colby, Jay Nelson of Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Mark
Pernsteiner, Medford. Wedding guests were seated by Douglas Bauer and Kory
Larson.
The reception, dinner and dance were at the Knights of Columbus Clubhouse,
Marshfield. After an Orlando, Florida, wedding trip, the Bauers will live at
3400 N. Frey Ave. here.
The bride, who works for Figi's Inc, graduated from Marshfield Senior High
School and Mid-State Technical Institutre-Marshfield. Her fiance, an employee of
Weber's Farm Inc., is a Spencer High School graduate.
