Parents of the couple are Ronald and Barbara Shaw, 22 State St., Neillsville, and George and Sharon Sandstrom, Rt. 2 Granton.

Special music at the service included “The Wedding Song” and “The Rose,” which were offered by Jackie Henneman and Eileen Zank.

Maid of Honor was Karla Hainz, a friend of the bride from Racine. She was joined in the brides contingent by Tammy Shaw, the bride’s sister of Neillsville, and Georgeann Sandstrom, the groom’s sister of Madison.

On the groom’s side, Howie Hainz, a friend from Racine was bestman. He was joined by Mark Shaw of Neillsville and James Sandstrom of Granton, brothers of the bridal couple. Ushering were Brian and Duane Eddy, cousin of the bride from Neillsville.

The bride chose a gown in the Queen Anne style in silk organza and Venician lace. It featured a Queen Anne neckline, bishop sleeves and ruffled flounced hemline. Her matching Venician lace-edged veil was of fingertip length and fell from a lacy Juliet cap. She carried a bouquet of red roses, white carnations, stephanotis and baby’s breath. Her attendants wore powder blue, ruffled gowns of organza which featured a flounced skirt. They carried white and blue daisies, white carnations and baby’s breath. The groom chose a while tuxedo while his attendants were attired in navy blue tuxedos.

After the formal service, a reception and dance was held at the Neillsville American Legion Hall.

Prenuptial events included showers hosted by Nancy Mohr and Sharon Sandstrom, Georgeann Sandstrom and Joanne Ponella of Waukesha.
