Debra Luchterhand has been named to the Dean’s List with highest honor for her
semester’s work at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh. She earned a 4.0 grade
point.
Besides her academic work, Debra is active in school affairs. She was elected to
the Student Senate. There are 20 elected Senators representing 11,000 students.
She also served as the Student-Faculty Calendar Committee, and is a member of
the University-Community Relations Committee.
Debra is also active in the peace movement, gave many hours campaigning in the
recent election, and helped in the election of Richard Flintrop to the State
Legislature; the first Democrat elected from Oshkosh since the Great Depression.
Debra is the daughter of Mary and Emil Luchterhand, Unity.
