NEILLSVILLE -- Mike Carpenter, 13, of Neillsville, has been awarded third place
in the Wisconsin Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 1983 Bike-A-Thon program.
Mike, who collected $412.50 for cystic fibrosis, won an AM/FM clock radio.
Funds raised in the statewide bike-a-thon program help support the two cystic
fibrosis clinics at Milwaukee Children's Hospital and the University Hospital in
Madison.
