Seventy-three Marquette University dental hygiene students will received white
caps during a candlelight ceremony on Sunday, February 18, 1973 at Gesu Church.
Mary Ellen Schwartz, 509 North Third Street, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Reeves
Schwartz, Colby, was among the candidates.
The caps are awarded to student hygienists at the completion of their
probationary period in theory and laboratory courses. The cap is indicative of
learning and achievement in the field of dental hygiene.
