Mrs. Helen Chubin of Lincolnwood, Illinois, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William
Haas, Sr., Unity and Howard Damrow of Schofield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Ludkey, Schofield, were married Saturday, February 17, 1973 at 2 p.. at Zion
Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. David Pankow officiating.
Mrs. Chubin was escorted into church by her two sons, Cary and Wayne Chubin, who
were the sole attendants.
Mrs. Chubin was seen in a floor length winter white sweater dress. Her flowers
consisted of white daisies, white roses, and baby’s breath.
An evening reception and dance were held at the Colby Hotel for their guests.
The guests and relatives came from Mankato and Cook, Minnesota, Zion, Cary,
Elmhurst, Chicago Heights, Chicago Ridge, Chicago, Illinois; Chippewa Falls,
Milwaukee, Stevens Point, Wausau, Colby, Unity Medford, Spencer, Edgar,
Schofield, Mosinee, Dorchester and Madison, Wisconsin.
The following day guests and relatives were entertained at the home of the
bride’s parents.
Mrs. Damrow is presently employed at Plotkin & Sons. Mr. Damrow is a field
display man of Sear Roebuck and Company.
They will be leaving March 1 on a combined honeymoon and business trip to
Venezuela, South America, after which they will reside in Lincolnwood, Illinois.
