Holman, Bernard (20 August 1941 - 7 December 2021) With Flag

Bernard M. (Bernie) Holman 80 of Humbird. Formerly of Lake Summerset Davis, IL passed away December 7, 2021 @ Marshfield Medical Center.

Bernard was born in Humbird, August 20, 1941, to Hartwig (Melvin) and Sadie (Ives) Holman. He married Maureen Laffe on July 6, 1963, in Humbird.

Bernard was a proud U.S. Marine and loved his country. He was a business owner in the lawn & garden equipment industry.

Bernard loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed going camping, playing cards, cooking over the fire (his famous chili), fishing, hunting, and being outside watching the birds and deer.

Bernard is survived by his children: Chad (Pam) Holman of Milladore, Melissa (Jason) Blunt of Humbird, and Jennifer(Bob) Swinda of Dakota, IL. He has 5 grandchildren: Brandon Gill, Echko Holman, Jaran Holman, Saphire(Dan) Reid, and Alyssa Swinda. Great grandchildren: Jackie Gill, Juniper & Aurora Reid and Rylyn Holman. Best friend George Bednar, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Maureen, his parents and siblings.

A celebration of life will be held on April 9, 2022 @ Humbird Fire Hall, Humbird, WI from 1-4:00 P.M.
