Abbotsford Boy Scout Troup 621 and Colby Troop 683 took part in the Ojibwa
District first aid meet at Marshfield. A total of 132 boys representing 11
troops took part in the meet.
Colby Fox Patrol, with 189 points, was given a red ribbon, and the Longhorn
Patrol of Colby, with 209 points, a blue ribbon.
The meet was designed to test the scouts’ knowledge of first aid methods. Each
patrol was presented with a set of problems relating to specific injuries. One
scout acted as the injured, with the patrol judged on the way it handled the
situation.
