Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thorp, Route 2, Brodhead, announce the engagement of their daughter, Colleen, to Kenneth Pokallus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pokallus, 212 South First Street, Abbotsford.

Miss Thorp is a 1973 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stout, in Menomonie, where she majored in apparel, textiles and design.

Her fiancé is a 1966 graduate of Abbotsford High School, attended the University of Wisconsin, Marshfield, and received a degree in electronics at North Central Technical Institute in Wausau. In 1972 he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin, Stout, and also that year graduated from the Control Data Institute of Minneapolis.

He was employed part time as a computer operator at Levitz Furniture, St. Paul, Minnesota, and is presently employed as a computer programmer at Scientific Computers Inc., Minneapolis.

The wedding is planned for May.
