Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weix have purchased the business and inventory of Dorn Furniture, Abbotsford. They began operating the store Saturday, April 7, 1973.

Weix is the present city clerk in Abbotsford, and has resigned, although he will remain in that position until a replacement is made. His wife had been employed at the Colonial House of Colby.

Mildred and Lowell Dorn operated the business for the past 27 years, staring on May 25, 1946 in the present Coast to Coast building. They operated the present furniture store for the past 18 years.

Weix indicated the two present employees, Mrs. Marion Nikolay and Mrs. Frances Gosse, will remain employed in the store.
