Simerson, Milton (7 Mar 1895 – 11 Apr 1973)
Milton Simerson, 73, Colby, died Wednesday evening, April 11, 1973, at his home
of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Lulloff Funeral
Home, Colby. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix officiated, with burial in the Medford
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gene Wilde, Robert Wilde, Leroy Fritsche, George, Tony and
Sylvester Sterzinger.
Mr. Simerson was born at Medford on March 7, 1895, and married Eith Westerlund
on December 31, 1941.
He was an auto mechanic at Detroit, Los Angeles, and Phillips; operated a tavern
at Phillips, and worked in Chicago, where he resided for 26 years. He retired
and came to Colby in 1969.
He was a member of the Phillips Legion and served overseas during World War I.
Survivors include his wife and a brother, Glendon, Tomah.
Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
