Fischer, Richard C. “Dick” (1 Nov 1930 – 16 Apr 1973)
A former Unity resident, Richard “Dick” C. Fischer, 42, died unexpectedly Monday
morning in Milwaukee, where he resided.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. today (Thursday) at the North Spencer
Lutheran Church, Spencer, with the Rev. David Ault officiating. The body will
lie is state at the church from 3 to 5 p.m. today. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Mr. Fischer was born November 1, 1930 in the Town of Unity, and was married on
May 29, 1965. His wife, Carolyn, survives.
Other survivors include three step-daughters; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Fischer, Unity; two brothers, Donald of Unity, and Ray, Riplinger; five sisters,
Mrs. Arnold (Violet) Seefeldt, Unity; Mrs. Cyrel (Florence) Adler, Wildwood,
Illinois; Mrs. Chuck (Jane) Bennett, Wisconsin Rapids; Mrs. Michael (Darlene)
Meer, Sussex, and Mrs. Orville (Geraldine) Virck, Miramar, Florida.
A sister, Mrs. Herman (Ruth) Neuman, Spencer, preceded him in death.
