Coakley, Kurt R. (14 August 1902-12 August 1983)
GRANTON -- Kurt R. Coakley, 80 of Route 2, Granton, died today at Memorial
Hospital, Neillsville. There will be neither services nor visitations. The body
will be cremated and returned to California for burial.Gesche Funeral Home is in
charge.
Mr. Coakley was born August 14, 1902 in San Bernadino, California, to Mr. and
Mrs. Jerold (Antonie Winneg) Coakley. He spent most of his life working for the
railroad and came to Granton about a year ago to live with his daughter, Mrs.
Robert (Joan) Reil.
He and Lillian Lang were married in 1928 at Jamestown, New York. Surviving
besides his daughter are two sons, Donald of San Antonio, Texas, and Jerold of
Martinez, California.
Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara, three
brothers and a sister.
