Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Schultz, Colby, announce the engagement of their daughter,
Sally Ann, Appleton, to Jerome L. Heindl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Heindl,
Route 1, Dorchester.
Miss Schultz is a 1971 graduate of Colby High School, and will graduate in June
from Fox Valley Technical Institute in Appleton with an Associate degree in
child technology.
Her fiancé is a 1069 graduate of Colby High School, served two years in the
Army, and is currently employed at Packaging Corporation of America at Colby.
No wedding date has been set.

Miss Sally Ann Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Schultz, Colby became
the bride of Jerome Leo Heindl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clemence Heindl, Dorchester,
on Saturday, August 17, 1974.
The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Robin Fink, Zion Lutheran
Church, and the Rev. Francis Rushman. Providing the music was Debbie Ricard, Eau
Claire, organist, who accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Stephen Zillmer.
The bride appeared wearing a nylon organza floor length gown with long tapered
sleeves, high neckline and a lace bertha yoke edged with ruffle. Re-embroidered
lace and pearl appliques trimmed the waistline. The A-line skirt, fashioned with
re-embroidered lace and pearl appliques was edged with lace trim above the
flounce. Her long lace edged veil was secured to a circular headpiece. The
cascade boquet consisted of white daisy pom pons, yellow roses, and baby’s
breath.
Miss Kathy Schultz, Colby, served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were
Mrs. William Prast, Appleton, Miss Debbie Huckbody, Wausau, Miss Cheryl Heindl,
Stevens Point, and Mrs. David Curtain Amy Schultz was the flower girl.
They were attired in yellow and green dotted Swiss daisy patterned dresses which
featured the modified waistline and ruffled hemline, layered sleeves and square
neckline with lace trim. Matching picture hats completed their ensembles. Each
carried baskets of green, yellow and white daisy pom pons and baby’s breath.
Mrs. Wayne Bauman, cousin of the bride, handmade all of the bridesmaids dresses.
Brother of the groom, Ruben Heindl, was best man, and groomsmen were Randy
Schultz, Colby, Don Schmid, Dorchester, Leonard Haas, Unity, Robert Skwarski,
Chicago. Ring bearer was Andy Wright, Elgin, Illinois. Steven Schultz, Colby and
Jeff Heindl, Dorchester, ushered the guests to their seats.
A reception, dinner and dance at Dorchester Memorial Hall for 450 guests
followed the ceremony.
The bride, a 1971 graduate of Colby High School, and a 1973 graduate of Fox
Valley Technical Institute in child care technology, is a teacher at the
Marshfield Child Development Center.
Her husband is a 1969 graduate of Colby High School, and is employed at
Packaging Corp. of American, Colby.
After a honeymoon trip to an undisclosed place, the couple will make their home
at 108 E. Willow Drive, Spencer.
Out of town wedding guests were from Unity, Neenah, Wausau, Dorchester,
Abbotsford, Medford, Stetsonville, Marshfield, Manitowish Waters, Stratford,
Illinois and Minnesota.
