The Francis Melvin firm of Abbotsford honored two employees during a recognition dinner party held Monday night at the House of Dav-Ed.

About 70 employees and guests gathered to honor Alex Mroczenski and Ray Hansen, both of Abbotsford, who were recognized for 20 years of continuous service.

Francis Melvin, president of the firm, presented each with an engraved gold watch and briefly reminisced about hiring the two men.

Previously honored for this event were Leo Underwood, who has been with the firm for 27 years, and Sylvester Kulas, with the firm 23 years.

It was noted that the four men have a combined total of 90 years of continuous service with the Melvin Company.
