NEILLSVILLE -- A group called "The Joyful Three" won the $100 first prize at the
Central Wisconsin Parade of Talent at the Clark County Fair Sunday night.
The event is sponsored by the Listeman Foundation.
The winning group consisted of Debbie Hanchek, Midge Anderson, and Kathy
Burgess, all of Neillsville. They sang "I'm Standing on Solid Rock."
The Barbarettes, a girl's quartet consisting of Michelle Wilcox, Angela Harder
and Jane Kessler, won the $75 second place prize singing "Shine on Harvest
Moon."
The third prize of $50 went to the Hohn Family of Neillsville. They sang "Praise
the Lord."
Other placings were as follows; Cindy Schafer, Colby, vocal solo, fourth, $40;
Lori Anding, Neillsville, vocal solo, fifth, $30; Rhonda Dallman, Greenwood,
piano solo, sixth, $25; John Schultz, Greenwood, piano solo, seventh, $20; Brian
Pabst, Audrey Wagner and Angie McMahon, 10-year-olds from Durand, and Kathy
Auberg, Owen, each won $15; and $10 awards went to Heidi Nick, Granton; Mary
Rella Heil, Unity; and Dinna Halle, Neillsville, all vocalists.
