Married August 6 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Dorchester, with the Rev. David
W. Maki officiating, were Miss Carolyn Ann Roth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George
Roth, Route 1, Unity and Richard Paul Golz, Route 1, Unity, son of the Rev. and
Mrs. Roland M. Golz of Bonduel.
Providing music were Camala Tischendorf, organist; Carla Langhus, Flutist; and
Karin Hanson, Terry Schorer and Barb Ault, vocalists.
The bride had an organza and chantilly lace gown with chapel train and a
matching headpiece of tulle and lace. In her crescent bouquet were white roses,
Blue-tipped roses and daisies and pale pink baby's breath.
Her aides were Miss Verjean Roth, Stevens Point, maid of honor, and Barb Duwe of
Sussex. Bobbie Janz of Mosinee and Mona Roth, Unity, bridesmaids. Shanna Roth of
Colby was miniature bride.
The adult attendants had cotillion formals, headbands of baby's breath and
clutch bouquets of blue-tipped roses and daisies with baby's breath.
Attending the bridegroom were Randy Golz, Dorchester, best man; Ron Wolf of
Dorchester, Glenn Heier of Athens and Neil Roth of Unity, Groomsmen; Verlyn Roth
and Eddie Heier, ushers; and Ryan Paul, Portland, Oregon, miniature bridegroom.
The reception was at Stetsonville Centennial Hall and dinner was served followed
by an evening wedding dance.
The newlyweds graduated from Colby High School, the bridegroom in 1977 and his
wife in 1981. He works for Dorchester Co-op and she is a beauty operator at
Razor's Edge Styling Salon, Dorchester.
After a honeymoon at Telemark Lodge, Cable, they will live on Route 1, Unity.
