Schorer, Agnes (5 Oct 1882 – 4 May 1973)
Mrs. Robert (Agnes) Schorer, 90, died Friday morning, May 4, 1973, at the
Colonial House of Colby, where she had resided for the past several years.
Mrs. Schorer, the former Agnes Witte, was born in the Town of Hull in Marathon
County on October 5, 1882. She was married to Robert Schorer, who preceded her
in death on June 28, 1942. She spent her entire life in this area, and lived
many years on a farm in the Town of Hull.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 7, 1973 at the United Church of
Christ in Colby by the Rev. Kenneth Dix. Lulloff Funeral Home had charge of
arrangements.
Survivors include three sons, Roland, Newburg, Indiana, Ervin, Nephi, Utah, and
Robert Jr., Mankato, Minnesota; three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Viola) Nickish,
Sheboygan, Mrs. Valeska Zander, Wausau, and Mrs. Frank (Florence) Wensauer,
Sheboygan; a brother, John Witte, Colby; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Meta)
Miller, Marshfield, and Ella Miller, Marshfield; and twenty-two grandchildren.
(Burial was in Colby Memorial Cemetery)
