Fay Hainzlsperger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe L. Hainzlsperger, Colby, was
awarded the Forensics Scholarship for $100.00 at the annual Masquers and
Forensics banquet held at St. Mary’s Hall on May 3, 1963.
Fay, a senior at Colby High School, will be entering Viterbo College, La Cross,
this fall to study nursing.
Fay has been an officer and active member of forensics for the four years she
has attended Colby High School. In 1972 she was a state contestant in
declamation. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, president of
Masquers, choir, FHA. GAA, Student Council Treasurer, and annual staff.
Alternate for the scholarship is Julianne Weix, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert
A. Weix, Colby. Last year’s recipient was Miss Charlene Edblom.
