Police Station Expansion is (2022)
Local community members and city officials both past and present celebrate the
grand opening and ribbon cutting of the newly-expanded Neillsville Police
Department. Mayor Diane Murphy, former mayor Chuck Glassbrenner and police chief
Jim Mankowski are shown cutting the ribbon March 13 prior to a speech given by
Mankowski solidifying the celebration. “The think I like the most is the
security wall and out new interview room. This is a very professional setting,
and it hasn’t always been that way, so we want to thank you. The community, for
allowing us to stay here and expand. I think it’s important that we have a
downtown presence,” Mankowski told attendees. The police department had the
opportunity to expand into the told city hall offices after those offices were
moved to the Division Street building and the new city hall opened in November.
