Hedler, Judy (5 May 1973)
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Zenner, the former Judy Hedler, will be residing at 19 West
Washington Street, Freeport, Illinois, following their May 5, 1973 wedding at
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby.
Father Rushman performed the five o’clock ceremony uniting the children of Mr.
and Mrs. Donald Hedler of Colby and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Zenner of Medford.
Sister Louise Marie was the organist and Barb Meyer sang “The Wedding Song” and
“Ave Maria.”.
For her special day the bride chose a full-length organza gown with matching
train, veil and molded empire bodice, centered with a wide bandof cluny lace
trimmed with organza covered buttons. A band of lac circled the waistline and
the full skirt was hired from sides to around back. Her headpiece was of
pearlized orange blossoms.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Jan Hedler of Colby. Kim
and Laurie Hedler, sister of the bride, were bridesmaids. The attendants wore
floor-length dresses of floral printed polyester sheer with fitted bodice and
full shirred skirt with ruffled flounce.
Tom Curron of Monroe was the best man. Groomsmen were Bill Waldron, Franksville,
cousin of the groom, and Tom Zenner, Medford, brother of the groom. Mark Heinz
and Mike Zenner performed the ushering duties.
