“I’m really enjoying this,” says Marie (Blondie) Wilde of her new position as manager of the Corner Café in Colby.

A Tribune-Phonograph employee since 1950, Mrs. Wilde began her new duties Monday. Assisting her in the kitchen is Mrs. Edward (Ila) Strathman, Colby, who worked at the café when it was known as the Dairy Corner.

The menu at the Corner Café will feature a special plate dinner each day, plus sandwiches and a fish fry every Friday. Sundaes, banana splits, sodas and cones may be had at the fountain service.

The café will be open at 8 a.m. each morning, except Saturday, when it opens at 10 a.m.
