Engeldinger, Albert P. (31 Dec 1892 – 9 May 1973)
Albert Peter Engeldinger, 80, died Wednesday at Wednesday, May 9, 1973 at the
Colonial House of Colby, where he had resided for the past two and one-half
years.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic
Church in Colby, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Francis Rushman
officiated. Visitation was held at the Lulloff Funeral Home, with a general
rosary and Forester rosary in the evening.
Mr. Engeldinger was born December 31, 1892 in Colby. He received his education
in the Colby schools and spent most of his life farming near Colby. On June 18,
1934 he was married to Hedwig Kaiser in Rockford, Illinois. She preceded him in
death in 1941.
Mr. Engeldinger was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the men’s
Catholic Order of Foresters.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James (Bernadette) Hauser, Unity; two sons,
Arnold, Wisconsin Rapids, and Arthur, Villa Park, Illinois; eleven
grandchildren, and a sister, Anna Engeldinger.
