R. Reeves Schwartz, principal at the Colby High School, retires with the end of
the school year. He has been at Colby the past six years.
Schwarze received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, St.
Cloud, and his Master’s degree in physical education from the University of
Minnesota , Minneapolis.
Leaving a position of high school principal and coach in Kason Minnesota, her
served three and one-half years in the U.S…..(some words got cut from my
article)…complete his Master’s in Administration. Schwartz taught biology at St.
Catherine College, St. Paul.
After six years of administrative positions in Minnesota, he moved to Lake
Mills, where he was junior high school principal for four years, a position he
held prior to coming to Colby.
Plans now are the usual summer fishing activity at the Schwartz’s lake home in
Minnesota, which will extend into all four seasons.
