Miss Jeanette M. King and Michael I. Heckel, both of Route 3, Marshfield, were
married August 6 by the Rev. Walter E. Schultheiss at Faith Lutheran Church.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. King, Route 2, Neillsville, was
given in marriage by her father to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Heckel, Route 3,
Marshfield. David Yonker furnished nuptial music.
The bride, carrying a cascade of pink roses and white carnations, had an ivory
lace gown and hat.
Mrs. Eugene Dux of Neillsville was matron of honor and Connie and Twila Heckel
and Lori King were bridesmaids. They had lavender and pink formals, flowers in
their hair and carried baskets of flowers.
Eugene Krause was ring bearer.
Michael Tomke of Marshfield was best man. Groomsmen were Paul and Christopher
Heckel and DuWayne Krause, and ushering were Eugene Dux and James Donnerbauer.
Supper was at Three Fountains and the dance at SouthEdge. They will honeymoon in
Canada and live on Route 3, Marshfield.
The bride graduated from Neillsville High School in 1965 and attended Mid-State
Technical Institute-Marshfield. She farms and works for Marshfield Homes. Her
husband also farms. He is a 1967 Marshfield Senior High School.
