Hodge, Tech. Sgt. Gregory C. (12 July 1950 – 6 May 1981)

The son of a former Neillsville resident was killed in a Wednesday, May 6, airplane crash. Dead was Tech. Sgt. Gregory C. Hodge, 30, of Fairborn, Ohio.

Hodge was born on July 12, 1950, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Gordon and Ramona (McMillion) Hodge. At the time of his death, he was an instrumentation technician stationed at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio.

Survivors include his wife, Margarite; a son, Gary, at home; a brother Steve, San Francisco, Calif.; mother, Mrs. Ramona Kindall, Dana Point, Calif.; and grandmother, Mrs. Angelita McMillion, Los Angeles, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father and a son Christopher.

Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon, May 8, from the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latterday Saints in Fairborn with Bishop Leonard Silvernagel officiating. Burial was made in a Carlisle, Ohio Cemetery.
