Mrs. Hugo (Anna) Dhein, 80, a former Colby area resident, died June 11, 1973 in Clintonville, where she had made her home for the past 28 years.

The former Ann Gierl was born December 19, 1892 in the Town of Hull, Colby. On June 8, 1921 she was married to Hugo Dhein at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby. They lived in the Colby area until moving to Clintonville in 1945.

A son, James, preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held June 14, 1973 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby, with burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were: Morris Gierl, Floyd Gierl, John Lukowicz, Donald Will and Robert Weideman.
