Announcement has been made by Mr. and Mrs. James P. Strieter of Route two,
Colby, of the engagement of their daughter, Ilona Maria, to David Arthur
Fischer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Fischer of Route one, Dorchester.
Miss Strieter is a 1970 graduate of Colby High School and is employed at the
Ponderosa Restaurant in Wausau. Her fiancé graduated from Colby High School in
1969 and spent four years in the U.S. Air Force. He was discharge in December of
last year with a rank of sergeant. He plans to attend the University of
California, where he will major in architecture.
A lawn wedding is being planned for September 15, 1973.
