Wayne H. Sterzinger, Route 1, Colby, was recently commissioned as a second
lieutenant in the United States Air Force.
Lt. Sterzinger received his commission through the Air Force ROTC program at the
university of Wisconsin, Superior, where he also received a BS degree in
physical education. He also earned the first honors ribbon for academic
excellence, and the extra-curricular activities distinguished participation
ribbon.
He is currently awaiting orders for undergraduate pilot training.
Lt. Sterzinger is married to the former Nancy Ruth Goeltz of Colby.
