Hediger, Lucretia (Seeking Ph.D. - 1981)
This summer, Lucretia Hediger will be doing comprehensive studies at Lakeland
College, Sheboygan, until returning to Notre Dame in Indiana to teach freshman
composition and continue her studies toward a Ph.D. in Medieval Studies.
Lucretia, a Christie area native, had attended a midwestern conference for
medieval studies at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, after completing a
year of studies at Notre Dame.
In 1980, she was graduated with honors from Lakeland College, Sheboygan; earning
a bachelor degree. She has been chosen as the outstanding student in the English
department. During her years at Lakeland she had also studied in Germany and
England.
She is a graduate of the Neillsville High School. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Herman Hediger, Jr., Christie.
