St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville was the Saturday afternoon, May 16,
site for the sharing of wedding vows between Sally A. Zilk and Harry A. Kurch,
Jr. The Rev. Joseph Henseler officiated. Parents of the couple are Francis and
Mary Zilk and Harry and Lori Kirch, all of Neillsville.
Special music for the service was provided by Coletta Short on the organ and
vocalists Brad Zimmerman and Michelle Wilcox.
Serving as matron of honor was Pam Reineck of Neillsville, she was joined by
Debie Barr of Rock Dam and Kathy Roberts and Marcia Gross, both of Neillsville.
Randy Reineck of Neillsville was the bestman. He was joined by Jeff Beran of
Illinois and Brad Roberts and Jeff Marg, both of Neillsville. Ushering were Mike
Kirch and Doug Heimstead, both of Neillsville. Julie and Chrissy Roberts were
flower girl and ring bearer.
The bride chose a gown of knit tenisita trimmed with Venician lace and seed
pearls and featuring a Queen Anne’s neckline, bishop sleeves, sunburst pleated
skirt with a watteau-styled back sweeping into a chapel-length train. She also
wore a matching veil. Her attendants wore blue gowns in tenisita knit trimmed
with Venician lace and wore matching derby hats.
Following the service, a reception and chance was held at the Neillsville
Country Club. The couple announced that they would take a wedding trip later
this year.
The bride is a 1976 graduate of Neillsville High School and is employed at
Corey’s Jewelry. The groom is a salesman at Kirch Ford of Neillsville. They will
make their residence at rural Neillsville.
