Erickson, Lynn (14 Jul 1973)

First Presbyterian Church in Abbotsford was the setting of the July 14, 1973 wedding of Miss Lynn Erickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Erickson of route 1, Dorchester, and frank Schreiber of Milan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Schreiber, Abbotsford.

Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride appeared in a floor length Edwardian style gown of nylon organza and Venetian lace with lantern sleeves. She carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses and white carnations.

Miss Marilyn Schreiber of Abbotsford was maid of honor, and Dennis Klemetson of Curtiss served as best man. Also attending the couple were Donna Sault, Milwaukee, Rick Grubbe, Abbotsford, Cathy Rueden, Gerd Wellman, Abbotsford, Sandra Poehnelt, Abbotsford, Ron Maldonaus, Abbotsford, Connie Erickson, Dorchester, and Allan Schreiber, Abbotsford.

The bride’s attendants wore nylon organza floor length gowns in rainbow colors of yellow, green, blue, pink and lavender. They carried white baskets with daisies to match each one’s dress.

Lori Schreiber of Abbotsford and Bruce Erickson of Dorchester, were the flower girl and ring bearer. Ushers were Scot Erickson and Jerry Weideman.

Following the ceremony a reception, dinner and dance were held at Dorchester Memorial Hall for approximately 325 guests.

The bride is a 1973 graduate of Colby High School and is employed as a waitress at the Coffee Shop in Abbotsford. Her husband graduated from Abbotsford High School in 1970 and is employed as a clerk at Braun Brothers in Milan.

Following a wedding trip to Wisconsin Dells, Mr. and Mrs. Schreiber will be living in Milan.
