Navy Airman Apprentice Eric R. Johnson, son of Dorothy Owens, Route 2, Neillsville, has completed the aviation electronics technician course.

During the self-paced course at the Naval Air Technical Training Center, Millington, Tennessee, the students received instruction on the fundamentals of electronic circuitry and were introduced to the wide variety of electronic equipment items currently installed aboard Navy and Marine Corps Aircraft.

They studied airborne radar, communication and computer equipment, plus the technical manuals, safety precautions and troubleshooting procedures for maintaining each.
